Upcycling

Upcycling is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or a higher environmental value.

Why throw magazines or cardboard or bottles in the recycling bin when they can be upcycled for art?

We deliver all of our mat remnants to Bailey-Boushay House, a nationally recognized facility in Seattle offering Residential Care and Chronic Care Management programs for people living with AIDS. Their clients turn our mats into incredible artwork. Those involved with Bailey-Boushay House share a belief that people with life-threatening diseases should be allowed to have care in a place with an atmosphere of inherent humanity. And what better expresses our humanity than art?
